Synopsis
The story follows Jay Singh (Jackie Shroff), an aspiring IPS officer living a middle-class life in Bombay with his family. Tragedy strikes when his father is murdered, and despite his and his mother’s best efforts, the law fails to provide justice. Jay is engaged to Seema (Neelam Kothari), the daughter of a crusading journalist named Aadesh Varma (Alok Nath).
When Aadesh Varma is murdered by a ruthless criminal don, Lala Ranjan (Kulbhushan Kharbanda), Jay is falsely framed for the crime. After overcoming these false accusations, Jay eventually joins the police force as an Assistant Commissioner of Police (ACP). He launches a direct crusade against Lala Ranjan, leading to an intense conflict that tests his morals and endangers his pregnant wife and mother.
