SYNOPSIS

"Saraswati" is a 2024 Bhojpuri family drama film streaming on B4U Bhojpuri starring popular actress Yamini Singh. It is directed by Vishnu Shankar Belu and combines elements of emotional family values, social awareness, and political drama. 

Plot Summary 
The story revolves around Saraswati (played by Yamini Singh), a young woman who was raised in the United States. After the sudden and tragic demise of both her husband and her father-in-law, she chooses to return to her ancestral village in India.  
Rather than succumbing to grief, she steps up to fulfill their legacy by contesting the local election for village head (Mukhiya). Throughout her journey, she fights local corruption, brings progressive reform to the village, and brings ultimate pride and glory to her family name.  

The movie also integrates important social and health awareness messages, addressing taboo topics like menstrual hygiene (the health hazards of using dirty clothes) and the dangers of smoking.
